We would always rather hear from you and determine together whether you need to come in than have you sit with a problem that is getting worse.

For life-threatening situations involving significant swelling that is affecting your breathing or swallowing, go directly to your nearest emergency room.
Act immediately. Pick the tooth up by the crown (the white part) and avoid touching the root. Rinse it gently with water if it is dirty but do not scrub it or remove any attached tissue. Keep it moist by placing it in milk, a saline solution, or gently between your cheek and gum. Call us straight away and get to our office as quickly as you can. The sooner you act the better the chances of saving your tooth.
